With Hurricane Season once more upon us I think it is a good idea to revisit some common sense preparedness, and with the example of Hurricane Sandy fresh in our memories motivation shouldn’t be to hard to find. That was a good read. I think the longest we lost power was for about 6 or 7 hours after the Northridge earthquake. I’ve been preparing for another bit by bit. ar-jedi’s report, especially the inconvenient/awkward and “not going well” categories and his evaluation on what he was able to run and when has given me a good idea of what I can do since I have an eu2000i generator as well.
